While I was living in Bali and running a social enterprise that delivered study abroad courses and programs to university students and professionals, I had the opportunity to get to know the local Balinese population genuinely and deeply. My practice as a facilitator and educator is heavily influenced by Balinese perspectives on nature, community, and the arts. In these writings, I reflect on my past experiences and how these experiences have shaped my understanding of social innovation, leadership, community building, and experiential learning.
